Privacy Policy

BR Software is a trade name of Backroad Raised LLC, Germantown, Ohio. This policy covers the website at www.brsoftware.co, including its request forms and the email address hi@brsoftware.co.

CertReady and Pencil & Paid each have their own privacy policy: CertReady and Pencil & Paid. FieldCert’s policy will be linked here once it is published. This policy does not cover data you enter inside those apps.

Information we collect

• When you send a FieldCert demo request, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number, crew size, and a description of the reports you need.
• When you send a CertReady Teams request, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number, crew size, and your message.
• When you email hi@brsoftware.co, we receive your email address and what you write.
• The request forms also include a hidden field used to block automated spam and a random request ID used to avoid sending the same request twice.
• Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers receive technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited, and approximate location.

How we use it

We use request details to reply to you, arrange a demo or onboarding, and set up access. We use technical information to keep the site working and to understand which pages and buttons are used. We do not use your request to create an account for you.

Who receives it

• Request forms are delivered to us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider. We do not keep requests in a separate database.
• The site is hosted by Vercel.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads measure how visitors use the site and how our advertising performs. They may set cookies or similar identifiers. We do not send them what you type into forms. You can limit this with your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools. We do not currently show a cookie banner.

Sharing and sales

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers above as needed to run the site, to comply with law, to protect users, or in a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Security and how long we keep it

We use encrypted connections to send form data. We keep a request, and our emails with you, for as long as we are working with you or may reasonably need them for our business records, and then delete them. Our email and hosting providers keep their own delivery records and logs on their normal schedules, and backups may hold copies for a time; we do not set a fixed deletion deadline for those.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete what you sent us by emailing hi@brsoftware.co. We will delete it from our own email and records. Deleting it does not automatically remove copies held by our email or hosting providers, backups, or messages already delivered to other people.
